New Horizon RP110 Launched for U.S. Inventory

Horizon Yachts is pleased to announce we recently launched hull four of the RP110 superyacht, and the yacht will soon be loaded onto a ship and deliver to the U.S. as an inventory yacht available for purchase. She will be on display with Horizon Yacht USA at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale Int’l Boat Show, Nov 1-5th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and we invite you to come see her beauty in person at the show.
As luxurious as she is functional, the RP110 yacht features sleek and graceful exterior styling from J.C. Espinosa along with an innovative, high-performance hull form developed in collaboration between Donald L. Blount & Associates and Horizon’s in-house naval architecture team. This innovative hull design not only provides a shallow draft but also minimizes drag at slower speeds and enhances hydrodynamic stability at high speeds. Powered by twin CAT 32A 1900HP engines, the new RP110 cruises at 18 knots and achieves 21 knots at half load; she is also equipped with zero speed stabilizers, twin Onan 50kW generators, bow and stern thrusters, frequency converter, custom navigational system, and more.
Elements of the ocean blend into a contemporary design with the RP110, giving the interior a relaxed yet sophisticated, modern beach house feel. Her spacious layout on the 25’ beam offers a functional 5-stateroom layout. The master stateroom is situated on deck along with the main salon, formal dining area, portside galley and country kitchen. Below deck, there are two queen-size VIP staterooms and two twin guest staterooms, each with a Pullman; and crew quarters are located forward in the bow for up to 8 crew. As one of the main features of the RP110 model, the raised pilothouse provides the captain with a quiet and comfortable environment for piloting.
The focus of the RP110 is outdoor fun with family and friends, so there are a variety of outdoor areas –from the flybridge to the forward deck, aft deck and–that have been designed for multi-purpose use. These include a tender garage that can serve as a beach club, large aft deck settee, and flybridge with a full bar, dinette seating and Jacuzzi.
