Horizon Sells FD80 Hull Three to American Owners

The Horizon FD80 was delivered to her first-time Horizon owners in a private ceremony
It was the on-deck master, ample space for entertaining and option for owner operation that encouraged first-time Horizon owners to purchase the FD80 Hull Three. Delivered in a private ceremony, the FD80 – christened Well Done – was purchased by an experienced yachting family who chose the Horizon build for its engineering quality and detailed design.
Specified with a Skyline (enclosed bridge) configuration, Well Done features four staterooms including the aforementioned on-deck master suite. The spacious master features large windows that extend throughout the main deck, a large en suite and a seating area with a sofa and built-in vanity. Three additional guest staterooms are situated on the lower deck – one VIP cabin in the bow, one large guest cabin amidships and a twin cabin.
Highlighted by the expansive windows, the main salon is bright and airy, with a contemporary décor and functional amenities such as the convertible dining table that offers formal dining for larger groups and folds into a breakfast bar to maximize space. The spacious galley is separated from the salon via privacy doors and a Hi/Lo island partition.
On the upper deck, Well Done’s enclosed skylounge offers a dayhead and a relaxed dinette area with low coffee tables. Doors to port and starboard provide access to the semi-walkaround side decks while the aft boat deck features a bar alongside the inviting Jacuzzi and grill area. Uniquely, this yacht also features a spacious beach club in addition to her crew quarters for two.
The owners were presented with an array of custom gifts from the Horizon team during the ceremony. “We were very impressed with the overall engineering throughout the yacht,” said the owner during the champagne toast. “Horizon pays attention to the important user aspects of the vessel, like designing for accessibility and temperature control for the DirecTV system, for example.” The owners plan to cruise the East Coast and The Bahamas, taking advantage of their FD80’s island-friendly draft.
