Owners discuss what makes the world’s fastest growing yacht series so appealing
A sketch, a chance meeting and the willingness to take a risk led to the collaboration between designer Cor D. Rover and Horizon Yachts and the creation of what is now the world’s fastest growing yacht series.
Introduced at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the Fast Displacement Series began with the voluminous, head-turning FD85 and evolved into an acclaimed and rapidly expanding yacht series that now includes seven models ranging from 75 to 125 feet LOA.
At Horizon, owner input and feedback are critical components to the build process. Owner collaboration has resulted in new models and owners’ design requests have been engineered to become standard features on future models.
