The New Horizon FD87 Skyline Shines at Cannes Yachting Festival, Next Stop: Monaco Yacht Show

The new FD87 Skyline Hull 10 will appear at the Monaco Yacht Show Sept. 25th – 28th
Horizon Yachts recently debuted one of its newest and most popular models, the FD87 Skyline fast displacement motoryacht, to enthusiastic visitors at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival. Celebrating its 42th anniversary, the event, held September 10th – 15th, gathered visitors from around the world to view over 600 of the latest luxury yachts on the market. Throughout the six-day show, the Horizon FD87 hull 10 – which has been tailored for European market – drew attention for her unique exterior styling, incredible interior volume, and innovative features.
Springing from the popular FD85 platform, which made its European debut at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival, the Horizon FD87’s extended length allows for even more amenities in a yacht that feels like a 100ft+ boat. Each FD Series yacht incorporates feedback from current Horizon owners into its design while capitalizing on the innovations and ingenious amenities fitted in its predecessor, and this brand new FD87 Skyline yacht is no exception.
Offering a five-stateroom layout with an enclosed skylounge on the upper deck, the CE-Certified FD87 Skyline hull 10 incorporates superyacht amenities into its voluminous design. Within the 23’ 3” beam, guests are welcomed into the light and airy main deck salon, highlighted by oak woodwork and featuring an ingenious convertible dining table that easily folds up into a breakfast bar. The forward galley can be separated from the salon via privacy doors and a Hi/Lo island partition while the full-beam master stateroom is situated furthest forward. A fully equipped beach club rounds out the generous living space onboard.
Continuing her European tour, the Horizon FD87 Skyline will appear at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) from September 25th – 28th. MYS brings together over 580 leading companies from the yachting industry, including the most respected shipyards in the world.
